DO:
PARVAID AND VIBACTRA PLUS!(click to order)
Parvaid has an 85% success rate and the Vibactra Plus is an antibiotic for viral and bacterial infections.
Unflavored Pedialyte-
2-3 cc per lb of body weight pedialyte every HOUR for the first two or three hours. Then I would recommend going down to every 2 hours. Read the "Do Nots" regarding overhydration. Do give your pup plain water from time to time. Iv or subQ fluids are best. You can even hydrate with an enema. For severely dehydrated puppies, enemas should be performed every 30 minutes. Email me or call me for a more info on hydrating with an enema.
Feed bland diet.
BLAND is important! Boiled chicken and rice in small amounts will be easier for your dog to digest than disgusting dog food or anything with more spice to it. I recommend you boil enough chicken breast (with rib meat for little fat) with rice to last a few days. That way you wont be in the kitchen all day. You can add a small grated clove of garlic to the boiling water. Sometimes I would save the broth to add to the pedialyte and make it taste better, while adding some nourishment! I would start out trying to give your dog 1 tablespoon of food in the morning, and if it can hold down that much, give him the same amount several times throughout the day. If not, then try a half tablespoon. You may even have to use even smaller amounts. Maybe 1/2 or 1/4 tsp. Any nourishment is good, but overloading is dangerous, and promotes vomiting! So dont worry about "starving" your pup, it wont starve as long as you are giving it tiny amounts here and there, 2-5 tablespoons a day depending on the size of your dog with vitamins should be sufficient. Again, your discretion! Raw organic chicken liver is loaded with vitamin A, it is a very good thing to feed parvo puppies, raw only though! Id feed raw liver every 2 or 3 days (Even after pup is well to help in preventing relapse)
Vitamin C
Vitamin C given every two hours will boost your pups white blood cells, which parvo suppresses. Generally 250mg vitamin C every two hours to a pup under 10lbs is a good amount to stick with. 500mg for 10lbs+. It will not overdose on vitamin C, too much can give it diarrhea. If your pup gets diarrhea from this amount, lower the dosage a little. Also you can give them 10-25mg vitamin B a day. Email me and I will give you a better idea based on weight of your pup! And a few more beneficial vitamins you can use to aid recovery!
Colloidal Silver
Will kill viruses and bacteria. Use 10ppm. I recommend giving 1/4tsp for a pup under 10lbs every 4 hours, and 1/2tsp for 10lbs and up, every 4 hours.
1/4 teaspoon 2 or 3x a day mixed in with the pedialyte or water, you can even rub a some of the dry colostrum (powder) on the inside of the puppies mouth, it will absorb quickly!
MSM
If puppy is not going to the bathroom 4+ times a day, you will need MSM! Its intestines may have some inflammation. MSM will relieve inflammation and pain. Inflamed intestines can get deadly! MSM is included in the Parvo Kit that you can purchase here
Vaccination & worker detox, OR bentonite clay
If your puppy has a positive diagnosis of parvo, and has had its shots in the last week or so, parvo will be more difficult to treat. Bentonite clay, or vacc and wormer detox will detox the pups body from the excess chemicals. It will still be more difficult to treat, but it will definitely help!! You can order vacc and wormer detox from me, or bentonite clay can be found at some health food stores, or online. Make sure to get food grade only!
Parasites
know if your puppy has them! You can do everything RIGHT, but add parasites untreated to the mix, and it likely will not go well. You really need to know!
Emergency Parvo tea and vitamin C until parvaid arrives!

Some helpful hints for keeping virus contained-
Carry solution in a spray bottle and follow your dog around when it uses the bathroom! I sprayed and sometimes unscrewed the cap to be sure and douse the contaminated "product" thoroughly.
-Keep a bottle of bleach solution or Parvosol next to doorways. When ANYONE leaves the house, pour a small puddle on the sidewalk or next to the door and walk through it. It takes 2 seconds, and makes a big difference! I would even sometimes carry a wet paper towel and make the dog walk through it and wipe her feet off to get any chemicals off of her feet. I don't think this is very good for the pads but our neighbor has a puppy and it was a small sacrifice! Possible irritated feet < parvo. Anyday.
